What if I do not wish to have my photograph(s) put on Social Media or your website?

I am always happy to respect my clients’ wishes and I do understand that in many cases there are very real reasons why a client may not wish to have their likeness online, but I also am grateful when clients understand that using images online is vital for my business’ survival, as it is my portfolio.

The best thing to do is to talk to me about any concerns you may have, from the moment you book your photo shoot with me.

Why do you work from a Home Studio and not a High Street premises?

This is a choice I made due to preferring to have a more personal space to photograph my clients in, and both I and they find it very relaxed.

Do you have a CRB/DBS Certificate?

No, because I never work alone with children, or anyone who may be classed as vulnerable, therefore I am not required to obtain this certificate. If you have any concerns regarding this, please call me directly.

Do you set a minimum age for Boudoir Photography clients?

Yes, I do. Boudoir Photography is only available to women over the age of 20.

I am over 16, so I need to be chaperoned?

Yes, you do. All teenagers, up to the age of 19, are required to be chaperoned by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult.

Why do you call your photos “Portraits”? What is the difference between a portrait and a picture?

A portrait is the likeness or representation of someone whether through a photograph or other artistic media.

A picture is any photograph.

If a portrait sounds like it has more depth than a picture, it's because it usually does have more depth and tends to offer a story better than a picture does.

The beauty in Portrait Photography is capturing the real personality, essence and style of a human subject.

Portrait Photography could be for an individual or a group of people by using effective lightings, backdrops and poses.
